Disciplinary Code

The Disciplinary Code establishes clear standards of conduct and outlines the procedures for addressing misconduct within the workplace. Its purpose is to ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant disciplinary action while maintaining order, safety, and professionalism.

The Code categorises offences such as attendance and timekeeping issues, insubordination, negligence, dishonesty, safety breaches, misuse of company vehicles or electronic systems, substance abuse, and other serious misconduct. It provides for progressive discipline where appropriate, ranging from verbal warnings to dismissal following a formal disciplinary hearing.

This policy applies to all employees and forms part of the organisation’s HR governance framework, ensuring procedural fairness and alignment with applicable labour legislation.
